Twopercentisgolden (“Gigi”) was a winner at the track (earning just over $18K). But that’s not what makes her a warrior. After she retired from racing, Gigi became a broodmare and had four foals! They were all sweet and kindhearted, just like her! At age 11, her owners decided to get out of the breeding business — and she needed a new home. LOPE stepped forward to offer her a spot – and the wonderful breeding farm shipped her across the country to us, thrilled that she could have a chance at a third career. Gigi has some hind-end stiffness that we are doing additional diagnostics on. But she is pasture sound and is a wonderful companion for other horses. She is very gentle with senior mares and is a super easy keeper, too! Gigi’s sweet personality has made her a favorite with everyone! See video here.
