Jack is a bay gelding with an extraordinary pedigree — by the champion Afleet Alex and listed as one of his leading progeny for 2023. Although Jack is smaller than many sport Thoroughbreds, his big heart and willingness quickly set him apart. He raced 55 times, in true warhorse fashion.
Jack came to LOPE through a collaboration with CANTER Kentucky. While his enlarged ankles limit him from high-performance sports, those very traits make him an ideal case study for LOPE’s youth education and veterinary program!
