LOPE Launches Capital Campaign for New Facility

LOPE is excited to announce the launch of our Capital Campaign for a new facility!

After over a decade of building on our work, LOPE has finally outgrown its current farm and needs a new facility. We are ready to expand our programs for rehabbing, retraining and rehoming more ex-racehorses. In addition, we want to fully develop our horsemanship education outreach (including a new internship program for at-risk young adults). In these ways, LOPE can continue to provide even more value and service to the ex-racehorses and the community of horse lovers who appreciate them so much!

We are launching the campaign for a new facility in the West Austin region (Dripping Springs, Spicewood, Wimberley or Driftwood). For all the details on our campaign plans and goals, please visit our Capital Campaign page for further information.

I’m writing a book about famous racehorses that I plan on publishing by the end of the year. I want some of the profits to go into fundraising for your new facility.
