LP's Tiger is heading to LOPE this weekend! She is the absolute epitome of a racing warrior. LP's Tiger is 11 years old and has raced 141 times (winning over $244,000). What's even more extraordinary is that she is a petite mare (only 15.1H)! LP's Tiger will be filling LOPE's funded long-term retraining spot for a deserving warhorse (see post earlier this week). She is RRP eligible and will be LOPE's entry in the RRP (but only if she wants to do that). LP's Tiger is coming to LOPE from MidAtlantic Horse Rescue, which is a wonderful TAA accredited charity in MD. They are devoted to helping OTTBs find new homes after racing (especially those in at-risk situations at auction). We are honored and excited to have LP's Tiger come to LOPE! We will be posting more details upon her arrival here -- and we'd like to thank MidAtlantic Horse Rescue for sending LP's Tiger to LOPE (and for everything that they do for OTTBs). All of the LOPE horses can't wait to meet her!
