6 yo @15.1H-15.2H dark bay TB mare. Song raced lightly but the track lifestyle just didn’t suit her. She came to LOPE in early 2015 and was soon adopted. But her family had some big changes and they needed to return her to LOPE. Song is petite and slender, with a sweet personality. She’s had problems with ulcers in the past and requires lots of turnout. In a herd, Song is invariably the bottom of the pecking order (she will actually carry her hay & alfalfa to other horses so they can eat it). This lovable little mare is looking for a kindred spirit and riding friend. She is gentle and kind — and adores grooming and attention. Song also has a large scar on her right front leg (due to a bad encounter with a fence when she was a baby). It is an ugly scar but is cosmetic only.
