Preregistration

Due at show facility November 1st — preregistration required for all Dressage Tests, Versatility Trail Entries, and Eventing Derby Entries.

Attire

Attire is relaxed but classy and appropriate for each discipline. T-shirts and sneakers are not appropriate. Half chaps and polo shirts are acceptable. Helmets are required in all mounted classes, including western. Safety vests and medical bands required in the Eventing Derby.

Sportsmanship and Horsemanship

Abusive or dangerous riding will not be tolerated, this includes but is not limited to: excessive whipping, spur rubs, overly tight nose bands, excessively high speeds, and poor sportsmanship.

Class Schedule and Ride Times

Despite a relaxed atmosphere the Covered Arena will be running on a schedule. Please be ready for your class. An open gate may prompt management to close the class early.

Class Descriptions and Information

Eventing Derby – Limited Entries!

Beginner Novice, Green As Grass, Goldilocks, and Baby divisions each with a Dressage Tests and a jumping round of a combination of 10-14 stadium and cross country obstacles. You will have 5 minutes to complete the course but times are not considered in results, merely completion of obstacles. Obstacles will be very friendly and will include banks, ditch, and possibly a water crossing. Safety vests and medical bands required for jumping round. Ride times will be posted. Preregistration required.

Versatility Obstacle Trail

Ride or lead your horse through a course of 8-12 trail and versatility obstacles. Judged on presentation, completion, manners, and overall horsemanship. May or may not include; rope gate, small jumps, water crossing, ditch obstacles, bank obstacles, back thru, turn around box, solid or teeter bridge, tarp/hose walk thru, picking up/dropping item, mailbox, mounting/preparing to mount, picking up the feet, and more.

  • Mounted – Open to all. Can be shown in English or Western tack.

Pair Pace Cross Country

  • Beginner Novice – 2’6” course & USEA 2014 Beginner Novice Test A
  • Green as Grass - 2′ course & USDF Intro B
  • Goldilocks - 2’3″ course & USDF 2011 Intro C

Lead Line

Open to very beginner riders. Riders must have a properly dressed leader.

In-Hand Horsemanship

Open to all horses, ponies, minis and donkeys. Handler will negotiate a specific pattern through non-trail obstacles (such as cones, poles, etc).

Dressage Suitability

Group classes judging the horse and riders suitability to compete in Dressage.

Hunter/Equitation Classes

Judged on soundness, performance, and manners. Manners will be emphasized. Crossrail riders may not enter classes with jumps over 18”.
