What a LOPE Internship Means to Parents

Jewel has been a LOPE intern since the summer. Here’s a wonderful quote from her mother about the LOPE internship:

“My daughter was given the opportunity to become a LOPE Intern for this past summer and jumped at the chance. While I knew she loved having the additional time with horses and looked forward with her time working with Lynn and the other interns, I witnessed 1st hand this past weekend it all coming together while watching her work with her horse. Not only has her level of confidence grown beyond what I expected, but the way she approaches her work with the horses has developed into a calm, mutual respect that was a joy to watch. We both feel very fortunate that she is part of the LOPE program and look forward to her continued work with all the benefits it will bring not to just her horsemanship but all aspects of her life. Amazing program for a teen to be involved with.” — Stacy New (Jewel’s mom).

We are truly honored to work with Jewel and the other teen interns at LOPE. LOPE will be adding some new intern slots in 2020. Please contact us if you have a teen who might qualify for the program.
